(3) register your Project under your Organisation and let everyone know about the work you are doing!
Sign Up Process Sign Up Process

Step 1: Sign Up as a Team Player

Place yourself on the Sport & Development Map! Complete the registration form to sign up as a ‘Team Player’ (or a registered user of the Platform). This allows you to provide Platform users with information about yourself, your involvement in Sport & Development as well as access a range of other benefits. If you’re signed in, you can contact other Team Players by sending them a message through the Platform. (This service is only available to registered users.)

Once you’ve signed up as a Team Player and completed your profile, you can add the Organisation you work for to the Organisation database…

Step 2: Add/Join your Organisation

When you complete your Team Player profile, you can select the Organisation you work for from the list of Organisations. If your Organisation does not appear in the list, you can create a profile for your Organisation. Don’t forget to include the coordinates of your Organisation’s exact location to place it on the Map!

By creating a profile for your Organisation, you can provide Platform users with basic information about your Organisation (e.g. location, website, etc.) as well as a description of your Organisation’s activities and its mission. You will also have the possibility to upload documents and files to the Organisation profile, making it easier for you to share information and resources developed by your Organisation with others.

What are the other benefits of adding your Organisation to the database? Find out here.

Once you’ve signed up as a Team Player and created an Organisation profile, you can add the Project(s) you work on to the Project database…

Step 3: Add/Join Your Project

When you edit your Team Player profile, you can create a profile for the Project (or Projects) you are working on in Sport & Development. Include the coordinates of the Project to place it on the Map!

By creating a profile for your Project, you can provide Platform users with a background to your project, its objectives and other details. You will also have the possibility to upload documents and files to the Project profile, making it easier for you to share information and resources on your Project with others.

Still not sure how this all works?

Check out Nathan Plowman's Team Player profile - he works for Mercy Corps and is part of the Moving Forward project.

How did Nathan get started?
Step 1: Nathan registered as Team Player and created his Team Player profile with some basic information about himself and his involvement in Sport & Development.

How did Nathan add his Organisation?
Step 2: He then checked to see if a profile for the Organisation he works for - Mercy Corps - had already been added. (It hadn't!)
He created an Organisation profile for Mercy Corps, with information about the type of organisation, its location and a brief description of its mission and activities.

How did Nathan add his Project?
Step 3: After that, Nathan then created a Project profile for the project he's working on (the Moving Forward project), which provides information about the Project, including the objectives, target group, lessons learned and much much more...

It's just 3 easy steps...

Let the Operating Team know if you have any problems signing up.
