Academics, practitioners and educators with expertise in the field of rugby union are warmly invited to submit 300 word abstracts on (but not limited to) the following rugby related themes: History, Social issues, Nationalism, Culture and Identity, Sport Development, Branding, Media and broadcasting, Coaching, Volunteers, Event Management, Governance, Performance-enhancement, Sport nutrition, Strength & Conditioning, Education, Social media, Sponsorship

Abstracts will be accepted from Monday 5 September, 2016 through until Friday 11 November, 2016.

Selected full papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Journal of Global Sport Management or Journal of Sport History. Further information on these special editions including full paper submission guidelines will be released in due course.
