Benefits of Having Live Coverage of Your Event on the Platform

Sport & Development related events are happening all over the world. But not everyone can participate. Providing live coverage from some of these events has a number of benefits.

It lets others participate, just not physically

Events and conferences are being held all year round. It isn't possible to attend each and every one of them. And for Sport & Development actors in developing countries, participation at international events tends to be even more limited.

By providing Live Coverage of Sport & Development events, Platform users can participate in online discussions and debates, during or after the event.

Representation at the Event

To provide Live Coverage of the Event in question, the Platform's Operating Team collaborates with at least one individual present at the Event, who acts as a 'reporter'. He/she is committed to providing good quality updates in English, throughout the duration of the Event.

Quality is maintained

The Operating Team will assist any 'reporters' in editing, photo editing and so on that helps to ensure the information submitted is well-integrated onto the Platform. Information that does not conform with the News & Views Terms and Conditions will be edited or removed.
