How it Works
The e-Debate is going to address issues in Sport & Development, with a specific focus on health. The e-Debate is going to take place in three Rounds. We aim for the discussion to be structured, with a beginning, middle and an end. Each Round represents a different phase in the discussion.
Round 1 - 'setting the stage'
This Round of questions serves to help set the context for the discussion and will give you a chance to explain fundamental concepts and ideas. This will give you a chance to define the terms you are going to use and for you to explain your perspecitve, based on your background and/or experience.
Round 2 - 'practical problems and meeting challenges'
In this Round, you can provide examples from your own experience or those you have learnt about or observed. This Round is an opportunity to ask questions and raise practical problems that you face and hopefully get some insight into how to solve them.
Round 3 - 'learning from the past'
In this final Round, you can put forward your recommendations to others for future action in the field. This Round is your chance to draw on your own experience and insight to guide others towards improving their actions in Sport & Development. This is also your chance to ask others with specific experience and/or knowledge on what they would recommend to you.
