Kate Cowan

Kate Cowan, Director of International Development at the IAYS
Kate is Director of International Development at the International Alliance of Youth Sports (IAYS). She joined IAYS Headquarters in 2006 where she helped development the Game On! initiative. She has been working on the Game On! Youth Sports programme since 2005 as a volunteer with the Commonwealth Games of Canada where she was placed in Trinidad and Tobago with the Trinidad and Tobago Alliance for Sport and Physical Education (TTASPE).

In her current role, she develops partnerships with international organisations, government ministries, and youth sports administrators. She is a native of Ontario, Canada and has an academic background in Recreation, Leisure and Recreational Youth Sport Administration.
