Yves Vanden Auwelee, professor (Em.) in sport psychology at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium
Yves Vanden Auweele is professor (Em.) in sport psychology at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium and has been teaching psychology to physical education, psychology and medical students for over 20 years. He was the Belgian co-ordinator of the European Masters Program for Exercise and Sport Psychology.
He is emeritus since October 2006 but still an active member of various sports societies and organisations. He is a member of the cultural and scientific Committee of Panathlon International and involved in a 10 year (1003-1013) sport and development project with the University of the Western Cape (Cape Town- South Africa).
