Sandrine Dusang

A former international football player who advocates gender equality in sport and society.

Sandrine Dusang has an impressive track record. Selected 47 times for the French national team, the former defensive player won five titles of French champions (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011), two French cups (2004 and 2008), and the Champions League in 2011. She ended her career as a professional player in 2017, after spending five seasons in the FCF Juvisy.

Sandrine spend a large part of her time in promoting the practice of football by women and gender equality in and through sport. Since 2012, she is a consultant and editor at Foot d’Elles, a citizen-oriented media aiming to promote women’s football and diversity in sport. She is also very involved to Equal Playing Field, an NGO that fights against gender inequalities and encourages women and girls in sport everywhere in the world. 

I learnt a lot from sport and especially from football. Sport is for me a beautiful school of life. Performance, competition, improving yourself, team spirit and sharing are strong values that sportsmen and sportswomen can also put at the service of companies and in many other areas of sport.
