Second International Seminar on Sport in Post-Disaster Intervention Comes To an End

After an action-packed 6-day programme in Rheinsberg, the seminar officially closed on Thursday

Prof. Dr. Gudrun Doll-Tepper, ICSSPE President and Dr. Alan Kirk from Kennesaw State University, officially thanked all of the participants and speakers for their active participation and valuable contributions to the seminar.

The management and staff from Haus Rheinsberg were recognised and thanked for their warmth and hospitality. They were also treated to a Nigerian-style round of applause led by one of the participants.

Everyone received a certificate of participation acknlowedging their attendance and efforts during the week and finally the ICSSPE staff were thanked for their efforts in planning and delivering the seminar. Prof. Doll-Tepper officially closed the seminar, once again giving thanks to the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, the Fürst Donnersmarck Foundation, German Red Cross, Kennesaw State University, Freie Universität Berlin and the Swiss Academy for Development.

To all those who have been following the seminar here on the International Platform on Sport and Development, we thank you for joining us throughout the week and invite you to continue to share your comments and ideas here on the platform.
