5K for IDSDP

How will you be celebrating on the day?

For the IDSDP this year, I will be joining Autism Soccer in a 5K to raise awareness of the organisation's work in teaching football (soccer) skills to children with special abilities. Autism Soccer gives the children a safe and supportive environment to have fun, foster social skills and boosts their confidence.

What does 6 April mean to you?

6 April means that there is a day that heralds sport, not just for sport's sake but for the the joy, vitality, unity, discipline and inclusiveness it brings. I am especially delighted to team up with an organisation this year that focuses on SDG10- that of reducing inequalities.
