Acadena Bangkok: Football for Life

An initiative based in Thailand aims for the long shot of preparing kids for full scholarship awards through sport.

Acadena is a social, educative and sport programme dedicated to kids from Bangkok slums. Based on practising football and learning the values needed in life to achieve personal and professional goals, the programme aims to enhance the development of great capacities and initiatives within the community itself for a bright future built by and for the next generations.

Acadena's main goal is to prepare (school and football) to make the Bangkok slum kids be granted full scholarship in good schools.

A logical evolution
ACADENA aims to generate a significative change on behaviors in the community. Therefore, education shouldn’t be only offered to few of the kids yet should involve as many kids as possible with the help of ACADENA’s partners.

First Goal is a weekly programme dedicated to kids from 6 years old to 10 years old. FIRST GOAL is proposing an english workshop and a snack to enjoy twice a week directly in the existing football clubs based in theslum, with the collaboration of the coaches and community.
