All children, everywhere, safe in sport

The International Safeguards for Children in Sport have launched their new website, with safeguarding resources for all working in sport and sport for development.

The International Safeguards for Children in Sport have launched their new website: www.safeinsport.org.

This new resource is aimed at anyone working in sport or sport for development, and provides information about the initiative and how organisations can get involved. It also brings together all the how-to guides, videos and versions of the International Safeguards and the self-audit guides in different languages.

Liz Twyford, coordinator for the initiative said “We hope that the new website will be a really useful resource for organisations, wherever they are on their safeguarding journey. We have two objectives as a movement - to raise awareness of safeguarding in the world of sport, and to support organisations to access effective advice, support and resources – we hope this new website will deliver on both these areas.”

Any organisation working with children in sport, or with responsibility for organisations who do, is encouraged to visit this new site, and make use of the resources.
