Beneath the shadows of the National Stadium

No matter each person’s differences in religious belief, whether Muslim or Catholic, we were all united by our common interests and quest to empower youth.

Last Wednesday, February 24th EMIMA began it’s Kicking AIDS Out Leader Level 1 workshop at the National Sports Council, right next door to the Tanzanian National Stadium.

As a landmark in the city the presence of sport, especially the ever-so popular football, was apparent in this LL1 workshop. With the presence of football and sport creating the shadow that everyone laughed, shared and learned under, it was the perfect setting as we all linked our love of sport with education and youth empowerment around HIV/AIDS.
