  • Grassroot Soccer Zambia (Zambia)

Grassroot Soccer is an adolescent health organisation that leverages the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilise youth in developing countries to overcome their greatest health challenges, live healthier, more productive lives, and be agents for change in their communities.

Through the organisation’s membership in the streetfootballworld and Sport for Social Change networks, GRS has access to platforms for sharing of best practices among sport-for-development organizations across the country and continent. GRS Zambia has strengthened the HIV Testing and Counselling aspect of our work through Home Visits. These visits by our trained Coaches engage entire households with GRS, and encourage participants’ family members to undergo HIV testing.
