YES Kenya will be hosting the Coaches Across Continents team for a weeklong on-field training from 25 June to 1 July 2017. The event will be held in Migori county and will attract coaches, teachers and other community-focused personnel that work with children.

In a bid to strengthen and develop its human resource endowment and capabilities, Youth Empowerment through Sports In Kenya (YES Kenya) will be holding a capacity building programme that will see that the community coaches of the organisation that train various teams in the county undergo formal coaching clinics. In addition, the programme will also embrace other fundamentals of coaching such as child protection policy, gender equity and development, among others. YES will also present two candidates who will undergo online self-directed learning that will commence in the month of March.

The programme aims at empowering teachers, community coaches, community health workers and other prominent people in the community that work with children in their daily activities.
