Call for collaboration: Nelson Mandela and the power of sport

The Foundation for Sport Development and Peace in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation are creating an events calendar and special publication on sport, development and peace activities in 2018.

On 18 July 2018, we are celebrating the Centenary of Nelson Mandela. On behalf the Foundation of Sport, Development and Peace and the South African Pierre de Coubertin Committee as well the as the Western Cape Network for Community, Peace and Development and their partners, we would like invite you to join us in honouring Nelson Mandela and the role he played for sport and peace in the world.

In cooperation with the Nelson Mandela Foundation, we have embarked to send out a call for collaboration, to create the foundations necessary for an effective and far-reaching local and international cooperation, to reach the common goals of all those who cherish the values of sport and peace, and enjoy the benefits of strengthening a peace movement through the development of a global sport and peace network in commemoration of the Great Nelson Mandela. #AlutaContinua
