Team Up is seeking proposals from experienced individuals and/or institutions to conduct a longitudinal study on the impact of the Australian Government’s investment in sport for development in six Pacific Island countries.

Team Up, the Australian Government’s sport for development program in the Asia-Pacific, is seeking proposals from experienced individuals and/or institutions to work alongside their regional and national sport for development partnerships to conduct a longitudinal study on the impact of the Australian Government’s investment in sport for development in six (6) Pacific Island Countries.

These include Fiji, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu for the period of 1 January 2021 through to 30 June 2025. With an additional Pacific Island country to be added in 2023/2024.

Interested applicants are asked to provide:

  • A cover letter, no longer than two pages and a curriculum vitae showing how the individual(s)/institution(s) has/have the skills, qualifications and experience to carry out the study
  • A technical proposal, no longer than four pages, highlighting
  • The methodology that you will use
  • Work plan which outlines the time frame, risks and highlights key milestones
  • Outline of how the individual(s) or institution(s) plan to collaborate/integrate engagement of Pacific-based researchers/institutions
  • A financial proposal/budget inclusive of all fees and costs to undertake the study
