Yunus Sports Hub and Danone Nations Cup are looking for organizations using football for social good to win €10,000 to build their social business.

The Yunus Sports Hub is thrilled to announce our new partnership with Danone Nations Cup (DNC), the world’s biggest football tournament for kids from 10 to 12 years old with over 2 million players on a yearly basis!

Together, we are launching a call for application for organizations using football as way to tackle poverty and/or gender inequality, to support them in building a self-sustainable social business model, so that they can depend less on donations.

3 laureates will be selected by a Jury composed of Prof. Muhammad Yunus, and football legends Ada Hegerberg and Raphaël Varane, and the best project will get a €10,000 support from DNC and 6 months accompaniment from our global team of experts to build their own social business model.

Through this innovative partnership, we aim to bring a new contribution to our vision to transform sport for development into a social-business driven sector. And of course, it brings the support from Danone to the social business concept and to Prof Muhammad Yunus on the sport field in a very concrete way.

"A charity dollar has only one life, a social business dollar has endless lives: it can be invested over and over again" Prof Yunus.
