The Football for Hope Festival’s Final Football Tournament has begun and is taking place in the township of Alexandra, Johannesburg and will continue until 10 July 2010. The tournament has featured a mixed gendered football tournament without referees to encourage fair play, conflict resolution, and the maintenance of an open dialogue between participants. Furthermore, youth have attended seminars discussing such issues as HIV/AIDS awareness.

The 4th Annual Unity Cup London is currently taking place in London, United Kingdom and will go on until 10 July 2010 where the final will take place at Paddington Recreation Ground. The tournament has thus far featured 100 community teams competing in a tournament designed to foster unity, understanding, and greater respect for London’s diversity.
