Muhammad Ali Center Athletes and Social Change Forum

The Muhammad Ali Center hosts a forum on 29-30 March 2013 in Louisville, USA, on “Athletes and Social Change” that is set to advance education, advocacy and research on the role athletes play towards social change, human rights and development.

 


1st international Hockey is Diversity Youth tournament

The hockey club Polar host the first under 16 Hockey is Diversity Youth Tournament on 6-7 April 2013 in Eppelheim, Germany. Eight teams from Germany, Czech Republic and the Netherlands will compete during this event which aims to raise awareness on diversity and peace.

 


IAPESGW 17th World Congress

The International Association of Physical Education and Sport for Girls and Women (IAPESGW), and its partner the national Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) are hosting a conference on 10-13 April 2013 in the Havana, Cuba. The focus will be on pedagogy, leadership and coaching, education and development and diversity.

 


2013 Gothia Cup Qualifier set for Kitwe

Breakthrough Chiparamba Sports Academy (BCSA) in partnership with SKF Zambia will host the 2013 Gothia Cup qualifiers on 12-14 April 2013 in Kitwe, Zambia. This event also aims to inspire and empower young girls and to develop girls football at the grassroots level.
