SportAccord Convention 2013
The SportAccord Convention takes place in St. Petersburg, Russia, on 26-31 May. The event focusses on driving positive change through sport internationally and is dedicated to engaging rights holders, organising committees, cities, businesses and other organisations in the development of sport.
5th International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sport
The conference is hosted in Berlin, Germany on 28-30 May. Ministers, senior government officials from all UNESCO Member States, representatives from non-governmental organisations and key stakeholders of the sporting world will tackle the most pressing issues in international sport policies.
3rd International Forum on Sport for Peace and Development
Jointly organised by the IOC and the UNOSDP, with the support of the US Olympic Committee, on 5-6 June in New York, USA, the forum aims to assess the successes and challenges of using sport as a tool for human development and peace promotion and looks at how to pave the way for future concerted action.
