What do you think of this recommendation?
Monitoring & Evaluation is increasingly gaining recognition as being crucial to S&D programmes. This raises an important question - how can we ensure expectations of all parties to any intervention (implementers, donors or beneficiaries) are met?
The recommendation also places emphasis on the local organisation - that it's in their interest to reflect on what they are doing and how well they are doing it. But how can such self-evaluations be conducted? Do local organisations have the right tools? What do you think of the tools that are available?
