The French Development Agency launches a consultation with sports for development stakeholders

The French Development Agency (AFD) is seeking feedback on a proposed digital platform to contribute to the financing and use of sport and development.

During his Ouagadougou address in November 2017, French President Emmanuel Macron placed sport as a major lever for action in favor of youth and economic and social development, and announced the launch of an initiative led by AFD to mobilise all stakeholders in the sport ecosystem in support of sustainable development.

This ambition is reflected in the development of the digital platform Sport en Commun, which will be launched in June 2020 during the Africa-France Summit, and which will aim to connect project leaders with funding and support structures adapted to their needs.

Considering your role within the ecosystem of development and sport, and as a potential future user of the platform, we would like to know your opinion about this project, and understand which services and features you think the platform should have. In order to do so, you can take the AFD survey before 30 August

Your answers will remain confidential.
