Getting young people from disadvantaged communities active in the United Kingdom

How will you be celebrating IDSDP2020?

Our projects across the country will be celebrating the best way they know how – by getting young people active on their doorstep. Since 2006, StreetGames has been standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the people and organisations at the heart of our most disadvantaged communities. Together, we offer opportunities for sport and activity delivered at the right time, in the right place, in the right style, led by the right people and at the right price, usually free.

What does 6 April mean to you?

StreetGames’ mission is to use the power of sport to help young people and their communities to be healthier, safer and more successful and the International Day of Sport for Peace and Development is a celebration of those values. We are proud to have board level commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals with a specific focus on our contribution to goals 2, 3, 4. 5, 8, 11 and 16.
