The University of Tsukuba is hosting the "April 6 Unity Games".

Activity

To celebrate the 3rd year of International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, the University of Tsukuba organises the 'April 6 Unity Games', which aims to teach life skills and the Olympic and Paralympic values through physical activities, in collaboration with Dr. Mandigo who is the creator of the Games. Based on the Olympic and Paralympic values, participants will experience activities to learn life skills and obtain practical knowledge in using sport for education and empowerment.

Message
The international day provides momentum to further promote sport for development and peace. It is a significant opportunity to remind people of the importance of sport and involve both students and faculty members as part of the SDP initiative.
