An initiative that will highlight the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games in a unique way.

Mpower Sports is excited to announce the launch of the #WeAreAllSportsFans social media campaign to unify and engage fans of adaptive sports through the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games and beyond. Starting today, we need your help to capture videos, pictures and stories of the fan experience with the Rio Paralympic Games and the adaptive sports world and showcase athletic highlights and athlete achievements through the lens of the sports fan.

The goal of the #WeAreAllSportsFans campaign is to reach the international sports community and sports fans worldwide and have them engage with adaptive sports before, during and after the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

Fans should use the #WeAreAllSportsFans hashtag with Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, and post video, pictures and stories of the fan experience leading up to and during the Paralympic Games and adaptive sports competition whether in person or online. Fans should share reactions, commentary, emotions and stories around the question, “Why are you a fan of adaptive sports?” At the end of the Paralympic Games Mpower Sports will feature the top 3 medal winning social media posts with the most likes and shares.

"We want to bring attention to the fans of adaptive sports and the experience of fans around the world during the Rio Paralympic Games,” said Robert Mueller, co-founder of Mpower Sports. “We believe that there is a unique opportunity to share the experience of current fans and to open the door for new fans to realize the power of adaptive sports.”

"We know that the world is eager to see more adaptive sports and there is a vibrant fan base waiting to be discovered,”
said Eli Wolff, co-founder of Mpower Sports. “The universal language of sport includes adaptive sports and we are thrilled to uncover the engagement of this new segment of sports culture and take it to the next level. We know that we are all sports fans."

Mpower Sports, Benefit, LLC is a sports media company with a vision to challenge the status quo of ability, sport and athleticism. The mission of Mpower Sports is to engage, entertain and educate fans of adaptive sports and to reduce the amount of time it takes someone to discover their ability through the power of sport. The solution is Mpower Sports: an adaptive sports media network for content creators to publish on and engage fans of adaptive sports around the world.
