New EFDN interview series with CSR practitioners

The European Football for Development Network interviews individuals on their organisations’ leading CSR projects and the impact they have on the community.

The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) consists of 96 professional football clubs, leagues and FAs who are committed to their communities and social responsibilities and have the passion to cooperate on a European level. EFDN.org is the main platform for CSR in European football. To foster the exchange of knowledge and best practices, EFDN introduced a new feature - a weekly interview with a practitioner.

All of the CSR-professionals involved in the series of interviews are asked questions about their typical day in their role at the club/trust. Including, questions around their organisations’ leading CSR projects and the impact they have on the community, with a particular focus on what initiatives they are currently delivering to help overcome the current COVID 19 crisis.

Nominating other practitioners

To conclude the interview, all practitioners will be asked to choose another CSR-practitioner within or related to our network. This will encourage more CSR-practitioners from other clubs and organisations to continue the interview series and provide inspiration, resources and updates to the European Football family.

Nine interviews published

Since the end of April, nine CSR-practitioners gave insights into their work at a club or foundation. The following nine interviews are already published:
