Journal of Sport for Development call for papers on Latin America and the Caribbean

The JSFD has recognised a gap in literature in the field of sport for development and peace on the social dimension of sport in the transition region of Latin America and the Caribbean. To be considered for the special issue, manuscripts must be uploaded to the JSFD’s online portal by 16 January 2017.




Survey on using sport in humanitarian settings

The IOC, UNHCR and Terre des hommes are conducting an online survey to identify best practices in sport-based programmes for youth in humanitarian settings. Share your perspective by answering this survey before 20 June and contribute to the global reflection on the use of sport for protection in humanitarian settings.




Peace and Sport launches Act for What Matters

Peace and Sport is launching a call to collect new or existing peace through sport projects via the organisation’s website. The initiative aims to find as many as possible existing and potential new projects, to encourage and engage stakeholders that use sport as a tool for peace with a meaningful and positive impact around the world. Field actors will be able to send their applications until 31 August.
