Applications for small grants from the Fare network are now being accepted and the Commonwealth invites community members to recognise youth work 

Football People small grants

The Fare network launched its small grants programme to help short-term and small-scale interventions during the Football People period. The Football People small grants benefit over 250 grassroots groups across Europe every year. Organisations can apply for a grant between 1 August and 6 September. Interventions must be held during the two weeks of the campaign.





Participate in the Commonwealth Youth Work Week 2016

Youth Work Week, 7-13 November, is an annual initiative by the Commonwealth Secretariat that highlights the contribution and achievements of youth work, youth workers, and youth organisations throughout the 53 member countries. There are a number of ways to get involved including running a campaign, getting involved in workshops and nominating someone for the Commonwealth Youth Worker of the Year award.




Transforma brings sport into schools across Brazil

Transforma offers three models of training courses for teachers with the goal of promoting new sports, spreading Olympic and Paralympic values and engaging the school community in the Rio 2016 Games. Contact the organisation to find out more about bringing the training to your school.
