a poster announces the launch of a podcast episode
Launched in January 2023, the Inspira Podcast with Erika Mueller Chen is an interview-based podcast that provides career advice and stories from global change-makers in Sport for Development, Social Impact, and the Diplomatic Service.

In 2023, 50 interviews with inspirational leaders working in Sport for Development and Peace from over 35 different countries will be published.

In the podcast trailer, Erika states: “These career paths really fascinate me - as they are each global, meaningful, competitive, and… a bit mysterious. Through this podcast, I hope to demystify what it means to work in these sectors and to shine a light on how others have found success in securing paid employment.”

In the first episode, Erika explains how informational interviews were key to introducing her to the Sport for Development and Peace sector. She recognizes that not everybody has access to informational interviews with leaders, thus she hopes that the podcast can offer insights and inspiration for those aspiring to break into the sector.

Podcast guests in 2023 represent organizations including FC Barcelona, Women Win, Soccer Without Borders, Laureus, Yunus Sports Hub, The Center for Healing and Justice through Sport, GIZ and more. Erika hopes that the leaders profiled in the podcast may represent the diversity of the sector, acknowledging the breadth of geography, identities, and life experiences that contribute to positive sport for social change.
