Passion unites us

We are delighted to be part of the 2017 International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.

Inuka Direct will hold its inaugural celebration of the IDSDP on 6 April at Mwamko Children Centre in Nairobi’s Soweto slums. The following short sessions shall take place:

  • Basic football drills
  • Football based sessions on violence prevention: including a game based approach to understanding violence and peace
  • White card photo sessions with the participants

We believe that through the fun based sessions, children get to reinforce their knowledge and share with their friends since it portrays practical aspects related to peace education. The participants will get to learn about pressure football and its relation to violence.
