During October PPI-ME were in Jaffa busy having fun!

The PPI-ME crew have been on a recruitment drive looking for new players to join their teams in Jaffa. Staff travelled to a number of schools across the city running fun activity days with children from both communities from the first to the eighth grade.

The days were designed not only to introduce the youngsters to sport but also to teach them a little about PeacePlayer values such as sportsmanship, teamwork and leadership.

Leading the scouting team was Tony Hamaty, PPI – ME’s new Program Manager in Jaffa, who himself is a long time basketball player and coach.

During the recruitment drive PPI-ME visited De la Salle School, the Orthodox School, the Jaffa Scouts Club, the Tabeetha School and the Terra Santa School, reaching in excess of 600 children.
