Peres Center For Peace Releases November Newsflash

The Peres Center for Peace is dedicated to the work of bringing peace between Palestinian and Israeli youth using the medium of sport. They post regular E-Bulletins on their website. Read a small sample of what is in the November Newsflash.

Introduction from New Director of the Sport Department
The newly appointed Ms Tamar Hay-Sagiv talks about the power of sport to bring together youth from different faiths and cultures because of the joint love of sport.

Dynamo Camp
During October 40 Palestinian and Israeli youth attended Camp Dynamo in Italy. The camp included horseriding, archery, football, basketball and arts and crafts. The camp was an opportunity for the youth to learn about and gain trust in one another as well as gaining confidence in themselves.

Coach Training Seminar:
The Peres Center for Peace is committed to ensuring the best possible programmes are delivered to the youth they work with. To deliver these quality educational opportunities regular coaching training is provided. One such event took place at the end of August.
