A World of Football and The Peres Center for Peace Football School in Tel Aviv, Israel have teamed up to make a documentary about the peacebuilding power of football. Featured above is a short trailer of A World of Football’s documentary about the Football School.

About The Peres Center for Peace Football School
In a very sensitive political context, the Peres Center for Peace Football School encourages reconciliation between Palestinian and Israeli children from disadvantaged communities through a program of sport training, peace education and social activities. This program imparts the values of peace and understanding, encourages acceptance of cultural differences and breaks down stereotypes.

About A World of Football

A World of Football (AWOF), a team of educational documentary film makers, was created by a group of enthusiastic individuals who believe that football has the power to united and transform relationships between people who may be in conflict with one another. AWOF wants to make others aware social agents who are involved in using football to improve people’s lives throughout the world. Using a series of written and video chronicles, AWOF would like to pay tribute to social agents as well as promote iniatives suc as the Peres Center for Peace Football School. In association with the international organization Peace and Sport, several schools and a number media the project hopes to raise people’s and politicians’ awareness on the role of sport in children’s development and well-being.
