The past two weeks have been marked by the 13th UNOSDP Leadership Programme and two events discussing LGBT issues in sport.

UNOSDP's 13th Youth Leadership Programme

On 3 - 13 February 2015, the 13th UNOSDP Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) took place in Gwangju, Republic of Korea. This programme recognises the potential that youth have to invoke change in their communities, especially in the field of Sport for Development and Peace (SDP).




Webinar - Leading the way: Working with LGBT athletes and coaches

Through a webinar organised by CAAWS on 4 February 2015, a discussion provided tips and tools for coaches and administrators working with LGBT athletes and coaches.




Sport infoday

On 11 February 2015, an infoday organised by the European Commission and the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), explained the funding opportunities available under Erasmus+.




Fans v Homophobia Conference

On 15 February 2015, this one-day conference hosted by the National Football Museum provided an opportunity for fans to come together and discuss the latest issues in LGBT inclusion and tackling LGBT-phobia in football.
