Today's recap of recent events includes the EuroGames in Stockholm, a multi-disciplinary conference on sport and Southeast Asia and a Nordic conference on disability sport.

EuroGames Stockholm 2015

The EuroGames Stockholm, held on 5 - 9 August, was a sport, cultural and political event that encouraged participation from everyone regardless of sexual orientation, race, gender, religion, nationality, ethnic origin, political beliefs, athletic or artistic ability, age, physical challenge or health status.




EuroSEAS conference

The multi-disciplinary conference was held at the University of Vienna and the Austrian Academy of Sciences on 11 - 14 August. The event featured presentations and panel discussions exploring relevant research topics on theoretical and methodological aspects of research generated in the field of Southeast Asian studies.



ISHPES 2015 Congress
The congress topic "Coming from the past, working in the present, looking to the future - aims, topics and results of sport history" was broad and general, allowing for the participation of sport historians, academics, independent researchers and other experts from around the world. It was held on 18 - 22 August.
