Snowboarding Superstar Auctions Himself

For some the opportunity to snowboard with Shaun White would be a dream come true- and for someone this just became a reality.

The chance to spend a day riding with White was auctioned on EBay. The winner of the auction also received "The White Collection" by Burton including board, boots, bindings and outerwear. But wait, that´s not all- they also get one night's accommodation at a four-star hotel on March 20, 2010 to allow them to use their VIP passes to the Burton U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships at Stratton Mountain, Vermont.

The winning bid of $6100 USD was donated to Right to Play to help them continue their work  with children and communities in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the planet

Shaun has previously been involved with Right to Play programmes in Rwanda.
