Some may already be heroes, but they still need answers to tough questions

Key insights came out of the last morning session on Day 1 of the Summit.

While Scott Lee, of Spirit of Soccer, commented that ‘Everyone who is here is already a hero,’ everyone still admitted that there were key skills that they needed to improve upon.

Representatives from places like Cali, Colombia; Tel Aviv; Kilifi, Kenya; and North Carolina in the United States all offered their own insights, but also what they were hoping to learn over the next few days.

Some commented that with the economic downturn, how do these sport-for-good projects sustain? Others wanted to find out how to use sport in innovative and new ways to improve the communities of specific groups of people they work with on the ground, on a daily basis.

From the collision over the next few days, and focus on skills that are important in this field, such as leadership, communications, innovation, and partnerships and support, the aim is for these representatives from some of the best sport and development initiatives in the world to get some answers.
