#Sport2030 for the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace
The International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP) on April 6 is a celebration of the growing contribution that sport makes to development and peace in communities around the world.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 global goals that cover a broad range of social and economic development issues. These include poverty, hunger, health, education, climate change, gender equality, water, sanitation, energy, environment and social justice. The SDGs are also known as "Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" or 2030 Agenda in short.
Join the global movement on April 6 to celebrate #IDSDP2018 and the important role that sport plays towards the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
You can celebrate by using the hashtag #Sport2030 and sharing your call to action for the contribution of sport, physical education, physical activity and play to the SDGs.
