In May 2019 we will be hosting the first Street Child Cricket World Cup (SCCWC) in London ahead of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.

The SCCWC will unite mixed teams of street-connected girls and boys from across the world to play in an international cricket tournament, a festival of arts and a congress for their rights

We believe that the Street Child Cricket World Cup is more than just a game. We will use the power of sport to raise awareness of the negative way that street-connected children around the world are both seen and treated.

The SCCWC will provide young street-connected people with a unique platform on which to have their voices heard, to be aware of their rights and proudly say to their countries #IAMSOMEBODY

Expressions of Interest from charitable projects and organisations working across the world with street-connected children are now open.

If you are working with street-connected young people and want to bring a team to the Street Child Cricket World Cup in May 2019 please get in touch so we can let you know how you can express your interest and change the way street children are both seen and treated!

Please visit the Street Child United website to submit your informaiton.

The deadline for all expressions of interest will be 2 January 2018.

We look forward to hearing from you!

“Sport has the power to bring nations together – it is truly a force for unity. That is why I’m supporting the Street Child Cricket World Cup in London 2019, using our shared passion for cricket to enable some of the world’s most disadvantaged and marginalised children to show their talents, make their voices heard and celebrate the potential of every child, no matter their background.”
