Successful IWG/Women Win grant projects

A large number of very interesting and valuable applications of four continents - Africa, Asia, Latin America and Australia/Oceania - were received by the IWG between August and October 2008.

All applications went through a detailed assessment process carried out by IWG and WomenWin committees. A total amount of EUR 25,000 will be paid out to three organisations which are all strongly committed to use sport as a strategy for empowering girls and women.
