TIBU Maroc's "Sa7ti Friyadti" program elected Innovative Action of the Year by international organization Peace and Sport

A new international distinction is added to TIBU Maroc, a major player in social innovation through sport. "Sa7ti Friyadti", an innovative high-impact program that encourages young people and families to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.

The "Sa7ti Friyadti" program of the NGO TIBU Maroc is the new laureate in the category "Innovative Action of the Year" at the "Peace and Sport Awards 2020" organized by Peace and Sport, an international organization that promotes peace by using the power of sport and is under the High Patronage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco.

TIBU Maroc uses the power of sport to design social and innovative solutions in the field of education, empowerment and socio-economic inclusion with a strong presence in 14 cities in Morocco.

The “Sa7ti Friyadti” (Empowerment through Sport) program provides distance sports education and helps to improve educational provision for thousands of young people from disadvantaged communities. As such, the organization has developed a guide focusing on nutrition, physical activity and mental health support. Its content is disseminated through technological tools that allow direct interaction with beneficiaries and their families, up to 3 times a week.

The "Innovative Action of the Year" category rewards an individual or organization that uses new technologies or develops innovative ways to promote sport as a tool for sustainable peace, education and social development. The finalists of this 2020 edition were TIBU Maroc, the International SAMBO Federation and FLAG21.
