Ex-boxer Jackson Williams started his feat of endurance on 3 August on a treadmill in Sweatshop, Harrods, London.

His goal is to raise £10,000 for UNICEF.

UNICEF works with the most vulnerable children around the world to deliver health care, nutrition, education and protection to help children survive and thrive.

The funds raised by William’s marathon effort will go towards supporting UNICEF’s work with children in over 190 countries.

Williams is quoted as saying:
"I have chosen to support UNICEF by running 26 marathons in 26 days on a treadmill because I believe that anything is possible. UNICEF’s commitment to children has produced some awe-inspiring achievements and proves that with a little help, we can make a difference."
