The UNOSDP put on a video contest calling on S&D practitioners to highlight their organisation's projects and initiatives. Selected organisations will be notified shortly.

Activity

Following the inaugural Day in 2014, this year’s UNOSDP celebration has special significance as the United Nations moves from the Millennium Development Goals to the Post-2015 Development Agenda, opening new opportunities where sport can be used to further support the growth of communities worldwide.

The video contest is aimed at recognising the progress achieved thus far in using sport as a tool for social change and calls on all organisations to share their stories on how they have made a difference in their communities through various sport-based programmes and initiatives.

Submissions will be used to illustrate the value of sport in our society today and reflect on the wider goal to achieve sustained action throughout the future.

Benefits of participating include a promotion of the best entries’ videos on UNOSDP’s media platforms as well as at selected events throughout the year.
