Access professional support and funding with Beyond Sport Awards 2016

The deadline for applications for this opportunity closes Friday 8 July 2016. For the past six years the Beyond Sport Summit & Awards has provided a platform for organisations to showcase their work using sport to create positive social change.

Every year more than 1,000 people gather at the Beyond Sport Summit to connect with likeminded peers to share ideas and examples of social innovation happening in various areas of the sporting world, as well as celebrate the winners of the Beyond Sport Awards.

Furthermore, each year there is a significant and much needed positive impact for all the worthy winners; not only does each project gain from the notoriety and the chance to network with others, there is a direct benefit of the business support package and funding provided to winners.

For the incredible organisations that are rewarded with a renowned Community Award, a package of both funding** and expansive strategic and business support is provided to assist in securing your sustainability in future years to come. This package includes measurement and evaluation tools, legal, online, PR and communications support and consultancy from a selection of expert industry-leading organisations.

Winning a Beyond Sport Award has proved to not only to be a great achievement but also help elevate the organisation’s work in front of a global audience of like-minded peers and organisations. In addition, becoming part of the Beyond Sport Network, which includes both promotion and exclusive media opportunities, will help future winners to share their work and enable their organisation to create new conversations and connections.

Recognition

“The chance to be recognised through this platform of peers and people here that I have a lot of respect for, hopefully means we’ll get more supporters, and get more partners, and we’ll be able to make it work to help more people around the world” says Luke Dowdney MBE, founder & director of ‘Fight for Peace International’ - sport for conflict resolution

Network & Platform

"We are really going to use this as a platform to catapult the work we’ve been doing and really set the stage for success and continue to build off the strong partnerships we have” says Nadia Moreno, technical director at ‘A Ganar’, Partners of the Americas - Barclays Sport for Employment Award

Funding

“Being a Beyond Sport Winner has proved the transformative moment for our work, giving us a much larger platform to broadcast from and connecting us to the funding and knowledge we've needed to grow” says Tim Conibear, founder & director of ‘Waves for Change’ - sport for health
