Women Deliver is a global organisation advocating for the health of girls and women. It will hold its "Girl Power in Play" symposium during the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2015. Now it is accepting submissions for session presentations. Abstract submission deadline: 14 November 2014
This symposium will focus on the linkages between sports and girls' development, particularly in developing countries. The symposium is tentatively scheduled to take place in Ottawa, Canada on 18-19 June 2015.
Women Deliver is accepting submissions for presentations on research around girls, sports and development, or case studies of sports-based programmes affecting girls.
Limited funding may be available for speakers from developing countries.
Submissions will be accepted until 14 November 2014. All applicants will be notified by 20 January 2015.
