Friends of Rwanda is currently seeking volunteers to travel to Rwanda the 11 - 21 August to spend ten days working with our rugby development officers to deliver coaching in primary and secondary schools.

Friends for Rwanda (FoRR) is now accepting applications to coach rugby to primary and secondary school pupils in Kigali, Huye and Rusizi in August 2016.

Going on tour has always been part of playing rugby. FoRR organises an official coaching trip to Rwanda to deliver training to coaches and children across the country.

You will spend time with our Rugby Development Officers visiting schools, clubs, orphanages and colleges, meeting the team and engaging with children and young adults who are passionate about the sport. You will have an experience that creates memories that will last a lifetime.

Our coaching trips offer you the chance to help our team in Rwanda who have been officially recognised by the IRB providing invaluable opportunities for children to play the sport we love. While some rugby experience is helpful, it is by no means essential, as enthusiasm is the most important travel accessory.

Our coaching trips are an opportunity to experience this beautiful country through the eyes of its next generation. We make no excuses for the hard work involved but guarantee your experience will stay with you for a lifetime.
