Together for HIV and AIDS prevention: a tool kit for sports community

This toolkit, developed in partnership with UNAIDS and the IOC, aims to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS by providing materials on HIV and AIDS education to members of the Olympic Movement and sport people in general.

The objectives of the toolkit are to provide tools for empowerment of coaches, athletes, clubs and federations, sports administrators and leaders to deal with HIV and AIDS; provide a step by step approach to programme implementation; and foster appropriate behaviour change in the context of sports people’s lifestyles.

This toolkit is of use for anyone involved in promoting and including HIV and AIDS education and work in sports activities and programmes.
