The third Guideline of GIZ's ‘S4D Knowledge Box’ holds information on sport equipment - the procurement, handling
and sustainable use.
High-quality and sufficient sports equipment helps to offer quality sport and Sport for Development (S4D) trainings. Without it, even the best coaches cannot fully convey their knowledge and the best sports grounds cannot be used efficiently.
This guideline aims to sensitise organisations on the need to offer access to sports equipment, gives tips and tricks for adequate handling, storage and care of the equipment to ensure its long-term use, and formulates recommendations for its procurement.
The third Guideline of the ‘S4D Knowledge Box’ offers space to include practical guidance, so to say manuals and drills books, into the Knowledge Box.
