This manual came into being following a project initiated by Terre des hommes called “Movement, Games and Sport for children’s psychosocial development”. This project was launched during the International Year of Sport and Physical Education 2005 with the idea of supporting initiatives using sport as a tool for education, development and peace. This manual, a compilation of twenty games, provides a play tool for those in charge of children which integrates a psychosocial approach and uses the phases of learning by experience.
