2nd International Conference on Theory and Practice in Adapted Physical Activity

The conference will present research and expertise related to the field of adapted physical activity (APA) and is to be held at the Józef Pilsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw. Not only can attendees here from key organisations about advances in APA but also have the opportunity to discuss some of their own work.

In association with the Polish Scientific Association of Adapted Physical Activity (PTN-AAF), and the Chair of Theory and Methodology of Teaching Movement at the University of Physical Education in Warsaw, the Józef Pilsudski University is to host the second conference on Theory and Practice in APA.

As well as a seminar on volunteering in APA, the conference will include the following topics for discussion:

  • Programming and organising physical activity for individuals with special needs.
  • Methodical aspects of adapted physical education, therapeutic recreation, and disability sport.
  • Education and lifelong learning of APA experts from various sectors.
  • Implementation of APA research into practice.
  • New technologies in APA.
  • APA for the elderly.
